No one said anything about class ehh???
Great research Maximus... impressive... did you have your dictionary next to you??? lol
Re: Eastern Pike Eagles Baseball 2009 Season
Thanks RTN actually I used by pocket dictionary, I keep it in my pocket at all times! Never know when you might need to know what something means.....
And as for the helmet that Coach Lemley had at the voting with a helmet, well yes he did have a helmet, but he did not bring it with him. Actually his moron players left that helmet at Trimble during the season, and Trimble's head coach was nice enough to bring it Coach Lemley at the voting. I guess that might be considered class. Just thought I would point out an example for you in case the definition didnt sink in.

Re: Eastern Pike Eagles Baseball 2009 Season
Eastern Eagles there is 32 days until it all becomes official and from what I have been hearing only a handful of the players that are not in basketball are doing anything to get ready for this upcoming season.
You all have the chance to go as far as you want, but let me say this from experience talent alone will not take you very far! It takes hard-work, dedication, focus, repetitiveness, loyalty, determination, and most of teamwork.
The longer some of you wait, the longer it will be for you to be game ready and most of all for the team to be at the top of its game, let alone the League!!!!
I am excited for Eastern Baseball coming in 2009, so let's get after it boys!!
TALENT DOES NOT WIN BALL GAMES, EXECUTING THE FUNDAMENTALS AND FOCUSING ON EACH PITCH AND PLAY IS WHAT WILL GET EASTERN TO THE TOP!
For those not playing Basketball and are coming out for Baseball get in there and get busy, especially those ones who have not played in a few years. You need to get back in the flow of things.

Well we are 20 days away from the officail start date for the 2009 baseball season. I look for Eastern to have a pretty decent squad, but one thing that concern me is leadership. Last year there were no leaders, except the Coaches.
I wonder which players will step up or better yet do any of them care how good a season they have?

I agree with you about Eastern possibly having a good season, but I must say our boys must be more committed than what they have been over the Winter.
I know the Coach has put in his time and given these boys every opportunity to get better, but only a handful took advantage and it was not but only one upperclassman. There were many who were not playing basketball that could have been in the wieght room and conditioning. These boys have much work ahead of them, if they are going to have a shot at the SOC I title. With basketball going later than normal this year, Coach may not get some of his key players up until scrimmage time? I know Coach Martin will do everything in his power to have these boys ready, but the question is how bad do they want it? From what I have been hearing, it only seems like one (Deweese) at this time. The kid has been working his tail off. Pitchers and Catchers start on 2/23, so i guess we will be hearing soon on how committed these boys are and how they focus on the fundamentals to get themselves better and be ready to play.
Let's get after it boys!
Best wishes on your 2009 season.

im glad eastern is doing better in baseball, when i was in school at east we never lost to them in the 8 times we played and the games were usually done in 5 innings so thats good.
