you still have to or at least make it a little more discrete. It isn't fair the way this stuff is called. Several Ridgewood players played dirty from the start. When they did something a ref would motion them away. They lost control from the get go and wanted to make a statement. If they would've did something ahead of time a good kid would still be playing Saturday. West has a bad reputation state wide and it's quite obvious no matter the sport that we get judged on that.

If it means anything one of our chain gang guys said the Ridgewood coaches were a class act. He also said when Murphy got ejected the head coach said that it was wrong and he shouldn't have been. Meaning with all the jawing and stuff that was going on. I was glad to hear that.

by the way, I pointed out early in the first quarter what #77 was doing to Murphy! One time #77 hit Murphy right in front of the ref's and of course he did nothing, Murphy had enough and he got caught!

The OHSAA assigns all playoff officials. They are a crew of 5 individuals put together to form a crew. Many times, the first time you meet a playoff crew member is in the locker room before the first round game.
