Good job boys! Keep it going. You can do this! The goal line offense has to get better to keep this train rolling. Got down inside the 5 on the first drive and got 0 points. That has been a problem this year. It may have cost them 2 of there three losses. Anyway, great job, just shore up that redzone O and keep playing hard on defense and you'll be deep in the playoffs.
If the Cavs play LE, I think Chilli wins. I know LE beat CW too, bu I still predict a W.

By far our worse offensive night since the Thornville loss. The play calling has got to get better , How many times are we gonna give the ball to the fullback on 3rd and 6 ?? What has happened to our passing game ? Special teams is becoming a liability instead of an advantage. On the positive the "D" was stout ,great effort !!! . This is not intended as an insult to CW ,but we should have won this one easliy ... Back to work ....Please open up the playbook alittle and take advantage of our speed , use the whole field not just the middle . GO CAVS !!!!

the play calling is HORRENDOUS. run the ball up the middle 95% of the time. chilli should have been up at least 21-0 at halftime...and all of a sudden, high snaps on the kicks and no line blocking. its gotta stop...you have too good of weapon in your kicker to let it go to waste....the defense tonight, exept for a couple plays, dominated. their qb was target practice the 1st half. i wish teams would stop with the prevent defense. it prevented chilli a shutout....it just doesnt work.
talking with an ex logan elm asst coach this week, he said if they have to play chilli, chilli should win by 2 scores.......now you kids can prove it....good job cavs!

Young had 29 carries for 176 yards. knights had 70yds. so chilli had almost 300 yds rushing if ya add on the fullbacks carries. and to think, 95% were runs up the middle...qb knights goes over the 1000yd mark rushing tonight. young is now over 1300 yds. good job!

SURVIVE and ADVANCE!!!!!! That's all that matters now... ugly win, after ugly win won the D-3 state title last year. For everyone who wants to accentuate the negatives from last night, ask yourself this: would you rather have been: A- Canal (playing and scheming as hard as you possibly can, forcing Chilly into some mistakes, yet still unable to generate enough offense or points, knowing you must do everything perfect and get a couple breaks along the way to get a win) or B- Chilly (started the game DOMINATING up front, yet lack of red-zone execution, untimely mistakes, and points left on the field in the 1st half, still knowing you were going to have to GIVE this game away in order for this team to beat you)???? Hope ya'll answered B. EVERY team now will fight til their last breath, and EVERY team will expose your weakness... even if it isn't their strength. Chilly's D was outstanding, hit hard, and frustrated Canal at every turn. Yeh, maybe the "prevent" did allow them their score, but our "base" D was outstanding!!! On O, IMO when you look at the rushing yards in this game, you will see Chilly did a good job moving the ball, unfortunaley our efficiency and point production has tailed off in the last couple weeks. Probably a product of 2 VERY good defenses by our opponents, but the answer to cleaning it up doesn't exist in the pages of a playbook, your O MUST execute down there!!! The field is much "shorter", and every good D will make your mistakes look that much bigger. As stated at the beginning, SURVIVE and ADVANCE... that's all it's about now, not a beauty pageant. Go Cavs!!!
