I'll give you that your program is better than Northwest but, they're starting to move in a positive direction(at least much better than past years.) Do you have a personal vendetta out for all SOC2 teams or just certain posters like me? I think this sounds like a personal problem to me and you need to get some prescription from your local pharmacy. What will you do when Burg again beats you and Valley knocks you off? Which has always been heated and a solid rivarly. Small schools in this area have ups and downs all the time. What will you say when Valley is really good in a couple years and Minford is a little down? I'm just curious. I'm starting to think you're either a disgruntled coach on the Minford staff or a parent on steroids who needs a power trip about how great their town is and how great their son/daughter is.

I think Minford, West and Burg are going to be very equal this year as far as talent and coaching. I dont think Minford is above the other SOCII schools.

To be honest, I just dont like you. Your posts are Mickey Mouse and you are always trying to stir the pot. We are talking about KIDS here, and your remarks about some of the KIDS last year was completely uncalled for and of course you wont come out of the dark and reveal yourself so I only laugh and make fun of your posts.

So there you go, chew on that for awhile. And I will continue to make fun of you and your posts until you stop shooting your mouth off and stirring the pot and that is just the way it will be so come to expect it.

Besides Jackson are the falcons participating in any other 7 on 7 or scrimmages? I have heard nothing but good things from the folks around town. I would like to get out to see the kids in action before the first game.

Bleeding Red, why don't you reveal yourself? I have told you my name, where I live, who I coach for and even my phone number. I don't understand why you haven't called or told me your extensive knowledge of football.

Ohhhh! You just got called out! I'm sorry, but this is just an online forum. Please stop making such a big deal about it. The players will decide the title. Not the coaches, not the parents, and especially not a bunch of online trash talkers.

I'm not saying Minford fans are getting ahead of themselves so far, it's just that all this hype reminds me of the hype coming from another SOCII team of seasons past: the 2006 Valley team.
You'll remember that back in '05, Valley went 9-1 in the regular season, losing to an 8-2 Burg team. They then made it all the way to the regional finals, thumping the #1 seeded Bishop Ready before bowing out to Centerville (I think).
There was hype all over this board during the summer leading up to the 2006 season. They had a lot of really good players coming back and everyone thought they'd make another big run. But the season got here and they started out 5-0. But even during the first 5 games, something smelled funny. First game of the year, they struggled with what would end up being a lousy 4-6 Huntington squad, finally coming out on top, 13-6. Then they struggled until the last few minutes of the game with a mundane Coal Grove sqaud (6-4 on the year), beating them 20-6 (it was 13-6 for almost all of the 2nd half). Then, it took them until the final seconds of the game to edge what would become a 4-6 chesapeake squad, winning 37-36, I believe. They ended up losing their final 5 games to teams like 6-4 Wheelersburg, 5-5 West, and 5-5 Minford.
Not saying this will happen to Minford, but they should be on their guard.

I completely agree with you on getting to far ahead of our team. But I believe the falling of Valley that year was partly due to their moving up to SOCII. Where they had to play all the teams in a row, not spread out between the cupcakes of SOCI.

read his posts from last year and how he attacked kids from Minford. I am through with him. He and his posts are worthless.

Bleeding Red, don't act all high and mighty when Minford doesn't win the SOC@ again this year. Don't say it was because of the officiating either. I'm telling you, West and Valley will beat you.

Read my posts about the SOC II genius.

I have said many times that Valley, Burg, Minford and West can all beat each other this year.

Falcon Fever is all around town for the muletown faithful. I see the falcons making a 3rd straight trip to the playoffs.

Minford Fans, give me a lineup prediction, lets see what you got(offense and defense) granted its all speculation until the kids take the field week 1, but lets have some fun and conversate a bit about the 2009 brand of the Minford Falcons.

I t is a little premature to speculate about the lineup until two a days are over. I didn't go to the passing camp in Jackson, but I think that would give a tenative idea on skill guys. But, once the hitting and scrimmages start that could all change. By the way, I was told by one of the fans at the passing camp that the Falcons are very atheletic.

I was there last night and I thought the Falcons were as advertised. The back up QB was playing and he looked very good. The starter was at a Legion game.

They looked better at Jackson. Backup QB or not, the intensity on both sides of the ball didn't seem the same as it was at Jackson. Either that or ZT's QB is really good as they clicked off several nice passes in a row.
