They looked better at Jackson. Backup QB or not, the intensity on both sides of the ball didn't seem the same as it was at Jackson. Either that or ZT's QB is really good as they clicked off several nice passes in a row.

Its early. All you can really see at these are speed and throwing ability.

I'm not here to talk trash or anything like that, but I just still can not figure out how the folks from Minford (or even West, although they crushed us last year) can seriously talk trash to Valley? I mean yes, the Falcons did beat Valley last year 10-7, thats fine. But Minford is not on another level, the records against one another speak for themselves. I also threw West out there, because Valley just defeated them the year before last. So it's not like the Senators have just been thrashing us repeatedly. The only team Valley has not beat in the SOC 2 is Wheelersburg, so my question is how are the rest of you so much "better" than the Indians? I'm pretty sure Minford is under .500 vs Valley in the past few decades.

I know it's a rivalry game, and all that....but it's not a gimmie game for the Falcons. Good Luck on the upcoming season, you have the tools to make a run.

Well you are 0-3 the last 3 years vs Minford, and 0-6 vs. Minford, West, and Burg since you left neverland ranch(SOC I).

Have I missed something, because I haven't seen where West people were talking trash towards Valley?

But since you brought it up, yes Valley did beat West 2 years ago and it was a very embarrasing loss. After a great offseason, I believe last year showed that West under this staff is a different animal. They showed what they are capable of being and what they will be in the future. Valley is a skilled team, but if you watch the replay of the game, it is quite clear the difference in physical strength and conditioning. I understand they were a young team, but unless they work alot harder in those areas, I would expect more of the same.

That post was directed toward the Minford fan, not the Siders. I just had to throw it out there, because it happened, and we werent 0-6.

I didnt see anyone from Minford trashing Valley. But if we are going to get blamed for it, might as well do it, right?

I think that Valley will have a fine year, as long as their coach keeps his hands to himself.

There you go :)

Minford plays East at home instead of at East for the Jamboree on Friday at 7 p.m. on August 21, but does anyone know when the Portsmouth and Rock Hill scrimmages are and where?
Been trying to find out, but no luck.
Thanks

Also don't forget Falcon Fans. Meet the Teams night will be Saturday August 22 down at the field. I hope to see a strong showing of fans to welcome this year's fall sport teams.

Just stating the facts. You cant dispute it, sorry if you dont like it. Minford fans really didnt like it much last year either after your coach showed his rear end after the game last year and it didnt really leave a good taste in their mouths.

Valley is loaded with talent, lets see how their coaching holds up this year ;-)

I was at this game and I also saw the after game scuttlebutt. Valley coach declined to shake coaches hand, pointing fingers in faces and arguing. It wasn't a pretty sight.

Minford fans arent crying, we won :122245

Minford vs Coal Grove should be as exciting this year as it has been the past 2 meetings. I look for a mid to low scoring game.

I will take Minford 13-10. The key to this one is stopping the powerful Coal Grove running attack. I also heard that Coal Grove has a QB transfer that can throw the ball. Any truth to that?

Meet the team is at 6:00pm. Man, this thread has been dead lately, nothing noteworthy to post?
