Cry me a river. When Wellston starts turning away transfers, then you can come and talk to me.

Not trying to ruffle any feathers, but which players are Div 1 talent on the 2012 team? Hard to believe if Osborne, McNelly, or Ervin who were very good high school players couldn't get a Div 1 scholarship, then who would on this year's team. I just think people throw the term Div 1 player out there way too much and way too easily.

So in the last 3 years Jackson had 1 QB from Jackson and in the last 3 years Wellston has had zero quarterbacks from Wellston.

Dayton 7-0n-7 Update-
Jackson played 4 games total two 20 min. halfs with 5 min. halftime. The games were kept score by passes complete, interceptions,etc.,etc. Didnt get any actual scores of final games, they werent really annoucned to the crowd. First game was against Beaver Creek, second was against Pointz, third was Belmont-Madison, and fourth was Trotwood(six DIV 1 players being looked at, starting corner number 1 in ohio and 3 in nation, already signed with OSU). The Ironmen brought in great attitudes and enthusiasm and played pretty tough against some very talented schools. Jackson wont see competetion like this again until late playoffs, and they seemed to fix their mistakes and improve each game. Props to players and coaches. After seeing how the Ironmen worked hard in these games, I cant wait to see how improved they are by the time season starts. GO RED!

TM is killer but Belmont is a decent D2? team.

Pointz may have some athletes but a 3-6 D4 team last year.

Thanks for the update on the 7-on-7. Going up against competition like Cam Burrows and the defending D2 State Champ, Trotwood-Madison, will certainly be beneficial for the Ironmen. Beavercreek (D1) and Belmont (D2) both went 6-4 last season, so that can't hurt either.
