On November 26 at 8 p.m., a documentary about the Waterloo Wonders will air on WOUB (PBS affiliate). If you don't already know, the Wonders won the 1934 and 1935 state championships with a creative style of basketball. It is truely a remarkable story.

Stu Wiseman, one of the Wonder guards, was a cousin of the Wilson family in Gallipolis. His mom was my dad's (Hobat Wilson, Sr.) sister, (Josie).
TheWonders used Frank Wiseman's barn (father of Stu) and Frank had a lot to do with the Wonders making.
Richard Fulks, a Rio Grande College graduate and retired Marshall University professor, has written a book or two on the Wonders. A couple years ago, the Wonders were featured in one of the state tournament programs.

As a sidelight, see the thread I have added about a new
book which has been written about the Waterloo Wonders.
