I've heard rumors that Devan Davis was coming to Wellston? Anyone from Oak Hill heard anything? Like I said it is just a RUMOR

After looking at that schedule, I could see Oak Hill having a 6 or 7 win season. With the right game time circumstances and some luck a 6 or 7 win season could be very possible.

I don't think the coach is to blame for a kids bad attitude. Maybe more folks should rally behind the coach and give him a chance. Trying to run a coach off and get a new one is like hitting to reset button and is never good for a program. What has Coach Homa done so bad that would cause a kid to jump ship on his teammates?

From what I have been told by some friends in Oak Hill, you might not want to get things started about the coach "girdironfan". Oh, by the way Devon doesn't have a bad attitude. Remember the line from "Remember the Titans" . . . "attitude reflect leadership".

Boss429 I was by no means trying to start stuff with or about coach. Unlike some in our small town I realize that it isn't the easiest job coaching football. I was being sincere when I said we should rally around him and see if we can in fact make some positive changes to the way our program is currently going. We just can't get this done by bashing the coach on the preps site. I send my deepest apologies to all if my previous post was taken in a different way than it was meant.

I have also heard there are major issues with the head coach. At least that is the word floating around the area.

Gridironfan, I wasn't trying to be negative towards you or your post. I didn't want you to accidently open up a can of worms so to speak. You are very correct in the fact that coaching hs sports, especially football in Ohio, in a very tough profession. Everyone that watches espn or plays video games thinks they know all the special plays and what the great calls are on game night. If any of these "experts" would be on a sideline having to make a call, I would venture to say they would crap down their pants. You are also correct when you say comminities need to rally around their coaches instead of tearing them down. I wish the Oaks much success in 2012.

Wow, if this how it sounds looks like you can add oak hill to the list of job vacancies. Very sad story. Someone might as well start a Triplett to oak hill thread
