You may have gone overboard a bit and I don't always agree with a lot you (and Army) say, but I do not think it is a fault to be proud of the school you root for.
A lot of folks are fair-weather fans and are with you as long as you win. Me, I prefer folks that are with you through thick and thin.
It appeared to me that you went over the deep end with your dissertation about Ed Cook. Be proud of him and his accomplishments, but you needn't wear it on your sleeve for all to see.
