The Scioto Valley Conference will be interesting early after seeing the schedule. The top 3 (Pketon,Adena & ZT ) play each other very early this year. The second week I believe they play each other .

I still don't understand how Adena is still "rated" over Huntington?

Roll is a good player but he cant do it alone.Schools with a balanced teamwork approach seem to do better in the long run. I say on paper Piketon gets the nod, but my darkhorse is Zane Trace. Coach Alley will not tolerate anything but teamwork and it is my understanding that Adena may have some temperment issues that will hurt them down the line.

Piketon has to be the favorite to win the league. But with some early season injuries it's anyones game.

I like Zane Trace to win the league. Iv'e seen them play a couple times in scrimmages and came away impressed.

Yeah Clay is a great ball player, but last time i checked there were 5 guys on the floor. Barnes, Skaggs and Bower are also key players for them.

But, Huntington has a very complete team with Trusty, Cottrill, Magill, Addy and Deal. Not to mention a strong bench.

I think the village will be proud of the effort with this sqad! The boys are really putting the work into it and they want to be the best. The mindset is very good, and the competitiveness increases each day. We have played the toughest off-season schedule ever at Piketon; the boys are much stronger than what they finished last season against the burg. They are ready to play!
