If you are the #8 seed and you beat the #1 seed, the #8 seed becomes the top seed for the region. If Fort Frye and Ready win next week. Ready will be the home team vs Fort FryeEasternDspy wrote:You got a link it don't make sense to me.

Click on "notes packet" it's next to (Regional Semifinals (Nov. 6) RELEASE) a couple of pages down in the PDF states , home team listed first. Look where it list all of the games.

We'll see. If memory serves, Bexley's attendance is usually on the smaller side. Depending on ticket sales, they might assign Hamilton Twp to sit on the home side. I hope so, because the PA speaker on the visitors side has been out the last couple of times we've played there.Falcon01 wrote:This site shocked me . Either way, we HT fans won't be upset. BC's stadium is a familiar place to us. They've upgraded the facility in the last few years, and hopefully the field will measure 100 yards both ways.

I was trying to remember all the games that Alumni Stadium has hosted since being built in 2004. Surprisingly, I don't think there are that many. Can you remember any others?doubleplay643 wrote:Heading two blocks from the house to watch Burg and NY.

2004 - DV Regional Final - Amanda CC 27 - Wheelersburg 25
2005 - DIV Regional Semifnal - Ironton 21 - Westfall 7
2008 - DIV Regional Semifinal - New Lexington 38 - Ironton 6
2008 - DV Regional Semifinal - Liberty Union 14 - Wheelersburg 7
2010 - DV Regional Semifinal - Oak Hill 31 - Minford 27
2014 - DIII Regional Quarterfinal - Jackson 28 - Logan Elm 17
2015 - DIII Regional Quarterfinal - Jackson 49 - Bexley 14
2016 - DV Regional Semifinal - Wheelersburg vs. Nelsonville-York
I probably won't be there this weekend, so I will have only made it to the Amanda/Burg, Oak Hill/Minford games, and the two times that Jackson played a home playoff game there.

Heading down to the county seat to the self-proclaimed Taj Mahal, with a couple bucks for that dreadful parking fee the Ironmen are so famous for.
