Your proof? It'll be sad to see them go. Now we wont ever be able to even up the series. They just need to stay for what? 7-8 more years?

Re: Ironton leaving the SEOAL
I hope its not true. You got in the playoffs every year since you rejoined (or missed one year, i forget), Gas prices are down, Zanesville is leaving to make it less of a hastle to travel so why the hell leave? Its a good place for Ironton.

This is a hypothetical going with this information since we dont know if its true or not, but what happens to Portsmouth? The rumor was that Portsmouth and Ironton are in together if Ironton leaves Portsmouth was following. So if its true where does it leave P-town?

Re: Ironton leaving the SEOAL
I think the SEOAL must evolve and let's be honest here. It will be a DIV 4 & 5 league more oriented to So. Ohio than it is now. Logan needs to plan for the future and that means it must play schools more its size week after week. As more schools come into existance in the Columbus area, there will be a need to split some of the teams away from the OCC. It is too big and cumbersome a league to exist as it is for long. Logan needs to play Zanesville, Newark, Lancaster, Grove City, Canal Winchester, Hamilton Township and the like on a regular basis. That will only come from the formation of a new league or by going independent. I'd prefer to see a new league with Newark, Lancaster, Grove City, Canal Winchester, Hamilton Township, Chillicothe and Teays Valley as members with Zanesville, Pick North and St. Charles as non-league games. Would you pay to see those games?
Re: Ironton leaving the SEOAL
You guys get on here and post all kind of stuff without proof.
There was a board meeting this evening, and the union president attends every meeting. She called our house on her way home and said that the board voted to leave the SEOAL at the end of the 2010 school year.
Take it down but when someone "in the know" posts maybe you will believe it. I just work at Ironton, what do I know?

This is your first post on the thread and you get on here and get all defensive like someone called you a liar.

Re: Ironton leaving the SEOAL
Just curious but where would Ironton go if it left the SEOAL? I'm saying this with all honesty. What do the board memebers see as a better alternative?

Well thats still no proof. Bird78 called me just a little bit ago and told me that Justin Frye re-enrolled at Logan and he'll be playing TB at Logan next year for his post-Sr. year and will be claiming his rushing records that he deserves

Ironton's AD will be contacting the League tomorrow.
