Trimble at Nelsonville York 11-28-08

Post by drills4skills »

The Trimble Tomcats and the Nelsonville York Buckeyes begin the season this friday at Nelsonville York. The JV game tips off at 6:00pm followed by the varsity at 7:30. Seems stramge to schedule a girls game on friday, especially on the same night as the boys varsity previews. These girls need people in the seats to support their efforts. Hope to see somebody there!

I look for NY to win this one pretty easily, by atleast 15.

I too thought it was strange to schedule a girls game on preview evening..

Good Luck Lady Bucks!!!

Good Luck to the Buckeyes and Tomcats. This should be a close game. Don't overlook the tomcats, they played well at the Preview!

I don't think Trimble played that well at the preview. They were down by 12 in the 2nd quarter, but they made a 13-1 run near the end of the game when Alex put it's reserves in. The Spartans could have won by 30 if they wanted to, but they have class unlike some teams like NY.

I don't think Whitney Smith is a reserve player. AND Trimble did not have there starters in all at once either. Both teams had their moments. Put the starters all against each other, you would have a good battle.

ALSO I agree on the boys preview /girls game on the same night.
Hope they never do that again. Fans have to choose. It should not happen.

EVeryone come out and support a team.

As much as I do not like Trimble posters on here. I think the Tomcats might surprise NY tonight along with some other people. Except my Lancers ofcourse.
