Fayetteville 77 Lynchburg 46. Fayetteville may well be the team to beat in the SHL.

boomer,

I would be inclined to agree with you. Like you, I believe they are the most complete team right now. They seem to be firing on all cylinders.

Fayetteville also has one of the best coaches in the area. The Fayetteville/Peebles game should be one of the best of the season.

Go to the holiday tournaments and watch Georgetown and Fayetteville play. I believe that will be the best game of the teams in our area.

Sounds like a good recommendation. Your Eastern Warriors are looking a lot better than I anticipated. I figured with all the players they graduated it would be awhile before they came around but that doesn't seem to be the case. That's a credit to their coaches and program IMO. Eastern also has one of the top coaches in the SHL IMO. I sat by him several years ago during a preview and we talked for awhile. Not only is he a tremendous coach but he is also one of the nicest people I have come across.

Thanks for the bump boomer....the girls have a long way to go and as most teams are dealing with a number of injuries. I hope they can pull it together and find some consistency. Still trying to figure out the pieces to the puzzle is what it looks like to me. I have been impressed with all the team in the SHL this season. Keep working hard girls!

as in they seemed to score at will and even though the game is over it seems like they are still scoring?

Yes. As in I think they were still shooting layups this morning, and we still had no answer.

Got a feeling most if not all teams are not going to have an answer for Fayetteville this season. They look awfully strong.

12/15

Lynchburg over Easter by 30. I was very impressed with the big girls for Lynchburg. Their ability to post and seal was impressive. Eastern had no answer. The Prine girl for Eastern scored 26 of the 30 points for Eastern.
