Piketon won the game at Vinton last year 21-0. Unioto takes down the Vikes last week after going down 14 early and rattling off 35 unanswered points to win. This game is at Piketon, so what does all of this mean, I have no idea! lol

Both teams were pretty sloppy in week 1, whomever shores up the fumbles probably will win this game! Lets Go Streaks!

VC right now is a work in progress, but the progress is looking good. Coach is making progress, and the players are starting to do the little things that in the end will help. We have been down so long, it will take time. Good luck to the Vikes and I look for them to win 14-13.

I don't understand why VC insists on utilizing one running back 80% of the time. Batey is a very talented athlete but why not use other runners as well. I saw the Boswell boy run once for 8 yards and catch a low thrown pass for 3 yards and then never touched the ball the rest of the night. Doesn't make sense to me. I was rootin hard for ya too.

VC was up 24 20 with about 40 seconds left. Piketon had it on the VC 40 4th and 10 and threw a touchdown pass. VC got the kickoff at the 35 ran a couple of unsuccessful plays and then threw a 60 yard touchdown pass as time expired. Great win for the Vikings. Congrats to Justy and the kids.
