TVC 4-0 TONIGHT..

This was the most exciting high school football game I have ever witnessed. Withought a doubt on of the best finishes in VC history! Congrats to the kids and the coaching staff on never giving up. Down 20-6 in the 3rd.. coming back to take the lead with 6 and change to go in the game.. only to lose the lead with 21 seconds to go. Wow I'm still shaking my head! Great great finish Vikings!!

I really thought the Streaks would take this one. Didn't see the intensity I saw last week. Hats off to Vinton County for playing til the end. They've got some good, tough players.

Streaks, time to regroup and prepare for Minford. Get in a good week of practice and represent on Friday. GO STREAKS!!!

Congratulations to the Vikings and Coach Burleson and the rest of the coaching staff on one of the most exciting wins I have ever seen. Our kids played with a tremendous amount of heart and desire, never giving up. Definitely a game that will be remembered for a long time, and one that shows our program is turning the corner. Way to go Vikings!

Someone from Piketon help me out..

While I was driving into the parking lot at phs I saw a nice stadium on ybe other side of the school. Looked to have seats on one side but they were big and looked pretty nice. Is it a new football stadium?

Also, does anyone know if VC/Piketon will continue this week two series for another two years?

Bengal Fan-Thank you for answering my question. I enjoy and always respect your posts. For what it is worth, I have been a long-time SVC fan and a fan of Piketon athletics. With all due respect, those player(s) involved should at a minimum have to sit out at least one game-probably more. For the Piketon School Administration, coaches, etc. not do something as a result of the incident sends a horrible message in my honest opinion.
