Congratulations to the Purple Ladies on big wins in BOTH games last night ... many, many of the youngsters stepped up for Coach Walsh - Loryn Cassady 11 pts/10 rbs, Kristy Klingenberg 8 pts/5rbs, Chelsey Evans 4 pts/7 rbs, Bailey Topf 19 pts/11 rbs , Abbie Linton 5 pts/5rbs , Stephanie Murphy 4 pts AND last but not least Emilie Hughes - EH, according to the LDN, started for only the 3 time in 2 years, she was the lone Senior in the lineup last night, having to play in the post ... EH garnered praise from Coach Walsh for her leadership and floor play last night ... Emilie picked up 6 pts/ 5 rbs in helping to stake the Purple to a 23-0 lead going into the 2nd quarter ... great job EH - some great TEAM comments in the paper from the senior as well if you look at tonight's LDN ... nice job EH in stepping up on and off the court - take those youngsters under your wing "old" lady and "git 'r done" on the court ...

Nice victories by JV and Varsity teams in Gallia! All players played well in both games. Nice game by Hughes in the varsity game against taller opponents. Next one Monday against Zanesville!
