It's nice to have folks giving Warren some respect. One note, Warren already beat Vinton by 14 points in the Foundation Game. I was there and I don't think it was a fluke. I wouldn't put VC ahead of the Warriors.

it's too bad northwest is in d-II because of being over the limit by 2 or 3 kids.....because they can play with and beat any team from d-III and d-IV and would be ranked in the top 5....but d-II is just a whole different level talent wise!

Are these supposed to be what you think are the top 5 teams of each division or teams you want to actually watch?

I don't think that the initial post was one that placed Clay at the top of Division IV. That was a list divided up by sectional tournament pools and listed in that respect. While Clay may be improved, they won't be at the top of D-IV in my opinion.

Also, Northwest has pretty much always been Division II other than just for two or three years when they had enough to drop to Division III. Only one time in the last 20 years or so has Northwest advanced to the Convo and the District Tournament and that was when they were Division II. Division III is nearly as strong as Division II in our area other than maybe a couple of top teams like Chillicothe and Logan Elm.

I said Waterford would be a top team in D4 a few weeks back and a Waterford huddler kind of shot me down on the key players they lost.

As for my picks in D4.....why would I put Eastern over the teams I have? Do you or hardly anyone know anything of Fairfield?

Two years ago they were 1-20....last year 9-13 (with the youngest coach in the SE district AND one of the toughest D4 schedules as well)....and this year return nearly everyone including several key seniors and 6'5 sophomore Chris Cox.

I'll stick with my prediction.....as for the others I mentioned....they need not be defended if you know anything about D4 SE district basketball.

And Trimble over Oak Hill is just not happening.

Yeah I would have to move Waterford up some they beat both Vinton County and Western in a Scrimage at Vinton County a couple of weeks ago. Waterford is alot better than most think!

Well....Actually I do know a good bit about Fairfield, "The Friendly Village". I would put money on it that I know more about the players then you, considering I grew up with them and played against them in my Jr. High days....Still keep tabs on them so I'm pretty much kept up to par.

They DO NOT have all the key returning starters. They lost thier best player in Andrew McKay, sure they still have Chris Cox but he is still a little young. THey will NOT be nearly as good as Waterford or Eastern Reedsville. Patrick Rudisill (spelling), John Barber, Steven Evans, and Kyle Stevens, will not be able to handle eiher team. There is NO WAY they should be considered top 5 in Southern Ohio. So let me ask you, "Do you know anything about Southern Ohio basketball?"
