2. Waterford (big man is almost enough, just cant out coach Howie)

3. Fed Hock (biggest school by far is too much for bottom 3)

4. Southern (coaches great name not enough to break top 3)

5. Trimble (new exchange Russian not enough to beat anyone but Miller)

6. Miller (Loooooooonnnnnngggg year for the Falcons)

In tourny Eagles and Waterford go deep, others lose early.

We all do know that Howie doesn't even try in preview. Really all he cares about is the tourny. But this year he is sick of everyone saying he nevers wins TVC, so he is mad. He said he is going to try this year and show no one can out coach him when he wants to win TVC. So what we all know is when Howie wants to he wins TVC, so he will win it this year. All you people voting for Millers is throwing your votes away. Mark this down, Howie wins TVC in 08, cause no coach is so GREAT! How ya'll like that for a poem?

This is a joke! If Waterford plays like they did in the Waterford vs. Fort Frye preview they will beat anybody in the TVC with ease!!!

Height kills most teams in this area, that's why Waterford wins the TVC because no one in the TVC can stop DJ Cunningham..

From what I have heard here on preps from waterford fans i might add, DJ Cunningham will stop himself and his teammates with that attitude of his. That is exactly why my Lancers will stomp Trouble i mean trimble this Friday and begin their title quest for yet another tvc hocking crown!!!!!

#1 ... Waterford ... - Not overwhelming choice, but the league is a bit down IMO, they look to have the best chance I think.

#2 ... Southern ...- This is my 'underdog' pick to win the hocking. Ive seen all the teams play thus far, not a full game, but through the preview and scrimmages and Southern is the best team ive seen of the bunch. 6'2 Weston Roberts is a very, very good player (all-southeast-district-1st team-last year) ... 6'2 Bryan Harris is similar to Roberts, avg about 12 pts per game last year... 6-foot-6 John Brauer gives Southern a legitimate big man with nice post moves and a big body ... Brad Brown and Cyle Rees can handle the ball and have experience to handle pressure ... Dustin Salser is a three point shooter that can drain em and Zach Manuel could surprise teams this year, he's could be a real nice player for the tornadoes.

#3 ... Federal Hocking - Hard to believe they would be this far down after dominating the Hocking the past few years. But I just see em as a good team this year, not great.

#4 ... Trimble - They are never bad for very long, they should be back to winning games this year.

#5 ... Eastern - No player over 6-foot tall ... Ouch!

#6 ... Miller

Waterford should have enough to win the league this year, depth may hurt them at times, but Strahler and Cunningham alone make this the most talented starting 5 in the league.

1) Waterford: When Cunningham gets angry, which team will he be helping....

2) Fed Hock: If they start hitting the boards and no foul trouble, might be 5 in a row....

3) Trimble: I guess they got more foreigen imports, they must have a great exchange program there.....

4) Eastern: No players over 6', rebounding will be a problem but no1 likes to visit that gym......

5) Southern: They got tough players but a 180 turnaround from last season, doubtful....

6) Miller: They're getting ready for next season....

Though it is hard to win at FH and at Eastern for some reason I say the Cats split with these two at worst. Coach Koondogger/Coach K has enough talent to win the TVC this year. As another poster wrote, good coaching will win it this year, as it seems several teams have some talent. I agree with many that Trimble has the most talent though, so we will see how the coaching wars go.
