Since 2000....
1. Chris Moore
2. KC Christian
3. James Russell
4. Wes Pierson
5. Carl Blankenship
6. Jeremy Mays
Others: Jerrod Casey, Dustin Harper, Joey Mays, Justin Lavender, Jeremy Fuhr, Herbie Butterbaugh, TJ Blagg.....may have left a few out, but these guys were standout players for RH. The top 6 would have to have a place on the all-time team.

Drew Fry
Andy Medinger
Jason Henderson
Adam Jenkins
Todd Knipp
Brett Bond
Bill Poe
Fred Evans
Gordy Collins
KC Christian
Tyler Virgin
and one of my all time favorites, Kenny Knipp. Had a leg amputated and still managed to play his Senior year. Was All-Conference, I think.

Chuck Bridges was a fairly good TB in the early 80's who played with Billy Poe and Gordy Collins, two already named Redmen.
Re: All time Rock Hill football team
What about Eric Bailey, would he be on the list of the great ones?

Re: All time Rock Hill football team
OK....in a few more days...there will be 200 members of the All time RH team. I say pick the best position player from each decade and go from there. If empty-no standouts
Since 2000
QB- Jerrod Casey....McCollister will prob take this one in the next few years
FB-
HB- KC Christian...Hon Mention Pierson and Russell
WR- Davenport
OT-Justin Lavender and Joey Mays
OG-Jeremy Fuhr and Herbie Butterbaugh
C-Carl Blankenship
TE-
DL- Chris Moore, Jeremy "Toppy" Mays
DE- Josh Moore and Matt McFann
LB- Dustin Harper, TJ Blagg, Kenny Elswick
DB- Russell, Pierson, Christian, Casey
Lots of good players this decade...3 playoff teams and 1 of the few outright titles in school history.

kc christian was a very good football player with a ton of athletic ability. davenport was also good with the pigskin and exceptional on the basketball court.
Re: All time Rock Hill football team
I supposed since no else has mentioned Jack Haggar, all of the posters are much younger than myself, or they never thought to much of him. This was in the 60`s i think.
Is Mark Harper still the leading tackler for RHS ?

There may be some confusion on Davenport. Mitchell Davenport was the only one of the two brothers (Nathan/Mitchell) to play football. He will be a senior next season. He made special mention all-ohio, along with all-district and all-ovc... he finished with around 650 recieving yards, 49 catches, and 10 TD's as a junior, certainly enough to land him in a discussion as one of Rock Hill's all-time players... His brother Nathan played basketball/baseball at Rock Hill and graduated last year... he made special mention on the all-ohio basketball team (along with district and conference honors), but he turned down several basketball offers and decided to play baseball in college and is on baseball scholarship at Cedarville University.
