Blue Angels are 3-0 with wins over Athens, River Valley and Chesapeake thus far. A very young team with only two seniors, and a new/old coach returning to the bench in Renee Barnes. This will be Coach Barnes sixth season at the helm of the Blue Angels, the first five years being in the 1990's when she compiled a 111-26 record, including a regional final berth in 1995.

Sr Rachel Jones and Jr Allie Troester are two 6 footers who anchor the front line, along with three year starter Jr Amy Noe. 5'8 Soph Shantelle Rathburn and 5'11 Soph Morgan Daniels also provide depth and quality minutes. 5'4" Soph Samantha Barnes runs the point. In reality, Coach Barnes makes use of her entire roster to take advantage of situations that arise.

Chillicothe should be one of the favorites in the SEOAL South, which seeding determines who plays for what on the Day of Champions.

Make no mistake Chillicothe is the favorites....Ironton is not the Ironton of old even though still a good team,Jackson is improved but not to division winner level yet.Gallipolis is in rebuilding mode if you will and Portsmouth is just horrible.
