I'm not so sure Alex won't suffer some setbacks this season but they should still handle Eastern without much resistance.

Yes alexander may have a few more successful seasons left, but, I hear the feeder program is in shambles

#11 playing in this game for alexader? I heard their was a drinking incident a few weeks ago. Didn't know if there was a supension
Re: Week 1: Alexander @ Eastern
Up next - Huntington - and another easy win for Alex in the weakest non league schedule in the county.
Re: Week 1: Alexander @ Eastern
I saw #11 for Alex hit #11 for Eastern so hard the Eaglet looked punch drunk. Might be time to "start from scratch" again down in the river bottoms.CavsFan08 wrote:#11 playing in this game for alexader? I heard their was a drinking incident a few weeks ago. Didn't know if there was a supension

Alexander definately needs to upgrade its non-league schedule if it has "arrived" and plans to challenge for league titles in most years.
I think one reason Alex did not share a league title in the past two seasons is because of the non-league schedule. Had Alex played a couple tough schools, that could have been all the difference in preperation for playing NY and Athens and gaining a share - or outright - league championship in each of those seasons.

You are absolutely, positively correct. I could not have said it any better myself.NYBuckeye96 wrote:Spartan wrote:Up next - Huntington - and another easy win for Alex in the weakest non league schedule in the county.

Re: Week 1: Alexander @ Eastern
If by upgrade the schedule you mean line the kids up 15 yards apart to make 'em tough resulting in season ending injuries before the season starts, allowing kids to play before they're ready in games they can't possibly win, or allowing an AD to completely control the schedule without regard for the program, I would imagine Alexander will pass on those ridiculous practices.
