Whitehat great reply. New officials in any sport only get minimal or no time on the court/field during class. Tests are open book, 200 questions true/false. Just about everyone who takes a class passes due to shortage of officials. Jr. high games are the last to be filled. I have seen Jr. high games with only one registered official. Jr. high games are filled by school AD or principal. The officials that were originally on the game should not have gone off the game unless they could step up to higher level game (JV,Var). Officials will trade out of games for the wrong reasons (more money).

are you talking about the 7th or 8th grade winning? if its the 8th grade then you need to watch the videotape again, you'll notice that the sw girls scored somewhere around 8-12 points very quickly on nw, and if you continue to watch the sw starters didn't play alot (or together) through out the game. To say that this was your first win is funny, because IMO I believe that sw was the better team.
