the foul shooting totals for the teams were within 3 or 4 of each other. By that previous comment it sounded like there was a huge difference. But if I am not mistaking it was close.

I hate to even comment on bad foul calls, but one call in the 2nd half, a FH player grabbed a Southern's player's leg and pulled him down, it was in the corner by where folks come in the gym, foul was called on FH, and the FH fans went berserk.

I also saw some fouls that weren't called on FH that should've been. I believe, as Max. said, the fouls totals were close. Didn't FH get the bonus before Southern?

Congrats to Southern,I wasn't at this game so won't comment on officiating - at this game. But will again stae that in All sports the preception, and often reality of TVC is close calls, both non calls and fouls will always go to home team in TVC.Officials choosen by home school, often with close ties to that school, need I say more? Not being a fan of any one school in SEO,I go to many different games ,where ever best game at on that night, and can say that as a conference TVC is very, very badly home oriented officiating compared to other SEO conferences.I beleive this is in large part due to having no leaque assigner as other leaques have, and will continue until this changes.

Wasn't at the game, had to work. But from what I hear a few FH fans behaved rather badly. Bad calls are no excuse for bad behavior. Many of us that support FH sports don't condone this. Sorry for the loss, but hoping that Fed turns it around this week and gets on a winning streak.

OK, First of all, I'm not resurrecting this to beat a dead horse, but the foul count was 19 to 10, according to your own home town newspaper, the "Daily Sentinel"

That, my friend, is a "HUGE" difference, even by your own scribe's pen.

Game 2 up in beautiful downtown Sturt, ought to be a thing of "beauty", from this old man's point-of-view......

It is hard to win a game when you put up 32 pts. No matter what the fouls are. Both teams played hard. Both teams shooting pct. was around 20%. Both teams are going to play better. All I am saying is if you put up 32pts and you shoot 20% you can't blame it on the refs. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way.

You better hope so. You play like you did against Fed Hock up at GTown/Trimble/Jacksonville/Redtown and you're gonna have a very tough time.

That being said, I don't believe that the game will have the flow, from a defensive standpoint, that you saw down in Racine, a few nights ago.......

The game at Trimble should be a fast paced offensive game...should be in the 60-70's for both teams!

1) Fed Hock can hang with both Trimble or Southern, they simply need a leader to step up. It did appear as if the Southern Refs had it out for Thompson - and its clear that without him on the floor, the Lancers struggle to score.

2) The Reffering was appalling, but so was the Lancer's lack of HUSTLE...

3) The FH JV team had some nice hustle...One of the JV Lancer's had the most athletic reverse layup I have ever seen in a JV game - and their defense was what u would expect from FH.

4) The new Lancer coach is giving it his all...Look for this team to win as the season goes on - If the starters aren't performing...use the bench...32 points is pretty sad...

Kansas Fan - No arguments from me on your points. Coach E is going to get this sorted out and the boys will start winning.

Oh, and it is pretty simple on the hustle issue, from my point-of-view. You don't, you sit, period........
