Pretty sure that had nothing to do with it.

BlizzardMan.
Or to add to the Gallipolis loss, I think it could of been the lopsided loss at Alumni Stadium against the Chillicothe Cavaliers too
And....the thumping the Ironmen took at the TANK by Ironton this season.
To include in that factor the two lopsided losses by Jackson at Alumni at the hands of Logan and Zanesville.
Portsmouth almost made it a victory again at Alumni, but Jackson escaped the loss.
The writing was on the wall this year after getting defeated soundly by the Chillicothe Cavaliers at Jackson. The Ironmen had very liitle fans in their stadium that night. The weather was a clear night and wasn't that cold. So weather wasn't the reason. I say that was the beginning of the end. I am almost sure Chillicothe had just as much or more fans from the visitors side than the home side. That did not par good for that Multi-Million Dollar Complex Jackson has built when their team is at home and the visitors have more fans in their new stadium than Jackson did.
The Ironton, Logan and Zanesville losses just made the decision more likely.
I wonder if the VC folks are interested in him as a possiblity?

I should have known that you would chime in. Beginning of the end for Jackson? Looks to me like there's a new beginning. Jackson will be back eventually and then you won't be running your mouth constantly.

The football team should begin a regular lifting program after Christmas Break. Does Jackson have any assistants that will take on the responsibility or a person to run that operation? A particular month they would like to have a coach selected and in place? Any speculations of possible employment oppportunities opening to bring in coach or his/her staff?
This will be an interesting winter for football talk in Jackson County and the surrounding area. Wish all the programs well.
