Federal Hocking @ Waterford 12/18
Federal Hocking visits the Lady Cats thur night. Any thoughts-predictions? The lady cats will be hungry for a victory after their narrow loss to D-III Oak Hill at the Convo sat. Also, expect Jessi to honored for her 1000th point sat at the Convo. This is an important TVC match-up of contenders for the title. Look for a great game.

Haven't seen the Lancers. Waterford a great team though! Good game to watch!
Re: Federal Hocking @ Waterford 12/18
I would like to wish the Lady Lancers good luck against Waterford. There is a chance you can win at Waterford, because I know 2 years ago Alexander won a nail biter there in double overtime. So go in there believing in yourself and trusting your team mates. For some reason Waterford won't travel to Alexander to play. They have to travel down there again this year on Jan 7th as the makeup date from previously scheduled game. Good luck Ladies!!!

Ive watched Fed Hock twice now and I seen Waterford once ... All I know is I don't care if the game is in Russia, if Butcher hits the htree like she is capable, the Lancers CAN WIN THE GAME!
Iris is hands down the best player in the TVC-Hocking and possibly the TVC-Ohio as well ... Kim Kline is great, but Butcher is just awesome ... I have not seen a girls player like her since 1992 when I use to watch Katie Smith play. She can dribble, shoot, rebound, pass ... shes got it all. The question is, can Emily Dunfee (1000 point scorer) and Chanda Cucker (14 points on Monday) keep up with Iris enough to beat Waterford IN WATERFORD?
I don't know, but I sure would like to watch the game!

This game was an intense battle between 2 really fine teams.
No one needs to hang there heads down after watching this game unless it's from fatigue. Waterfords depth won this game. Congrats to both teams & continued success for the rest of the season.
The rematch sould be just as good. These teams are the class of the league with everyone else in the far distance. Finally congrats to the officials who done a fine job.

Re: Federal Hocking @ Waterford 12/18
Butcher - 17 points, 6 field goals, 3 threes
King - 17 points, 4 field goals, 1 three, 8-for-11 free throws = 17 points
- Both players are pretty good, King only had 2 points at half, 6 after three quarters and did most of her damage in the fourth via free throws.
- Butcher, having to score with the taller King guarding her most of the evening didn't have a lot of scoring chances but still managed to score 17.
- Drayer was the Lancer 'slayer' per say - she poured in 10 in the first quarter alone and ended up the high scorer of the game with 18.
- Waterford just had to many wepons, they play 9 girls in and out all night ... Fed Hock relies on 5 ... By the end, Waterford had wore down the Lancers and took home the victory.
- Federal Hocking CAN UPSET Waterford when they in Stewart ... King had 1 foul called on her all night ... If they can somehow penetrate the lane and get King into foul trouble early, federal Hocking could possibly pull out a victory and still have a chance at a 'shared' TVC-Hocking title.
- But don't underestimate Trimble at home either - they have the physicality to match-up with Waterford inside and if things go right for them and the wildcats have an off night, Trimble could possibly pull off an upset as well. If neither Fed Hock/Trimble are able to knock off the Wilcats - they run away with the TVC-Hocking championship and hopefully do well in the tounrey.

68-54?? Well, that isn't real close, but we can say things might get closer when they play at Federal, however, I still do not see the Lancers getting the upset. The next match-up between these two teams will most certainly be determined on the defensive end. Both teams have a great offense but, I don't see the Lancers being able to stop King and Drayer. Federal's tall girl is a little too slow, and all their quicker gilrs are a little too short.
