At the Half:
Eastern - 31
Clay - 22
Clay was up 17-9 after the 1st and Curley with 9 pts in the 1st then Eastern's coach switched to 2-3 high zone and Clay's coach doesn't have an answer for it.

Notre Dame 46
New Boston 44
It appears that the conference has at least four teams in the hunt for the title!
This was a hard fought game that could have gone either way. Congrats Titans and Good Luck the rest of the season! Lady Tigers, get ready for Western on Thursday!

Eastern - 60
Clay - 44
Eastern player very well! Day was near perfect from the line which helped them tremendously. Coach Castle had nothing to show for their 2-3 defense. Clay did not set one pick the entire game other than in an out-of-bounds plays.
Curley led the way for Clay with 18 pts and four 3's. Free Throw shooting was horrible for Clay going 10 of 22. Not impressed with Clay at all, not to take anything away from Eastern as they played very well! They did what they were supposed to and came in a whooped up on Clay.
I don't have stats for Eastern but here's Clay's scoring:
Curley - 18
Spriggs - 2
Jenkins - 3
Whitley - 5
Redding - 6
Pelfrey - 2
Carter - 5
Emily - 3

Re: Monday night scores (Dec. 5th)
Is Morgan very good or was Athens off...or is Athens not quite as good as I expected?

Re: Monday night scores (Dec. 5th)
I thought clay and eastern were the teams to beat this year but with ND and NB both beating eastern and eastern easily handling clay it doesn't look good for either team. On another post I think ND and NB were the only teams left out of the seasons synopsis, just thought that was funny! I'll put my money on ND for the SOC I title. They came on strong late last year and seam to be improving on that! Go ND, perennial powerhouses non-factor at this point, maybe one or both will pick it up as the season goes on. Good luck to all, but it is nice to see a fresh face on top.UUsokkr12 wrote:Eastern - 60
