Re: Rock Hill @ Waverly
Yep, not very.
Waverly dominated the game from the beginning and never looked back.
Lundin, Roback, Martin dominated underneath. Kretzer without an L (spelling nazi's) and Remy played better in their 2nd game.

Waverly probably doubled Rock Hill up on the boards. Not certain but players mentioned seemed to pull down a buch of offensive and defensive rebounds! No stats to confirm but just an observation from game.

Remy and Kelly are fine at the guards, Lundin is a man-child underneath, Roback dominated the boards, Kretzer played well but his shot is just not falling, Martin got some garbage buckets and had some nice moves in the paint, Blanford, Tackett, and Robertson got plenty of minutes and did a good job!
Team seemed tired and a little off since the hard fought victory the night before. Seemed to play down to competition a little. They better pick it up against West.

Waverly looked fairly good the first quarter but very mediocre the rest of the game. They'll need to be much sharper Tuesday night if the plan on beating Portsmouth West. That was quite a defensive display put on by the little guys before the start of the varsity game. Overall nice start to the season and a nice interview with coach R on the radio after the game.

Rock Hill just can't play w/ a team that size...Waverly was much bigger, stronger and faster... but good job by both teams.. .....................................

First of all I was not at the Minford game so I cannot comment on that game or make any comparisons.
As for the Rock Hill game: Lundin was a man among boys in the paint. Any doubt I had about our guards was erased quickly Remy, Kelly, Blanford all did well, They didn't score many, but that is not their role. Thye manage the game, handle the ball and set up our offense. Martin and Lundin both had double-doubles and I think Roback was close. If we play like we did the first game and the first quarter against Rock Hill we will be tough to beat.
