This will be a big test for the young Pirates. Valley's tempo and defensive pressure could cause some problems. Burg will have to control the tempo.

Valley has a legitmate shot at winning this game, what hurts them is size defending Stegman. Burg is very displined and very well coached, but watching them against West they looked as they good be beat, and from what I heard Valley did to Northwest, I assume they are a good team.

I don't know much about any of the area teams except Valley and Oak Hill, so I don't know what to expect tomorrow night. Hopefully the Indians can carry their success over from Friday night. As mentioned earlier in the thread, tempo will be a key. Burg has always done a great job against fast teams when playing at home, but I haven't seen the new gym and I assume it's bigger. So maybe this will play into Valley's hands... who knows? But I do know that Barrick is still the coach, and he's hands down the best coach around... his teams are always prepared! Good luck Valley, this should be a good one!

This is going to be a good game, wish I could miss a West game to go watch it, but that isn't happening. I wouldn't miss a West game for nothing. But back to the game, this one should be a dandy! Burg handled West running up and down the court, but I do believe Valley is better at running up and down the court. Valley will have a hard time handling Stegman but I believe Burg will have a hard time running with Valley if they choose to. I don't think Burg will run with them. They will slow Valley down and make this a very good ball game and I see Burg winning a close one.

If Valley is going to beat Wheelersburg, then they better do it this time. Barrick is the best coach in the area and his teams always get better as the season goes on. This is a game I would love to see.

It is always tough to be Burg at Burg any Time. Valley has been playing well as I have had a chance too see them 3 times. But lets not get carried away if this game was being played at Valley it would be even closer.

'Spencer' is due. His rebounds were a little down against the Warriors (probably because there was a low total rebounds available in that game.) But he is the type to not have low numbers two games in a row.
