Cry cry cry..typical manchester fan...excuses excuses.... Peebles was up by 25 pts late in 3rd quarter....dont think you can blame that on the refs....The reason manchester lost is because they couldnt make anything from the outside not the refs....they were simply cold all night long..the 13 point win is no indicator at all on how the game went....the game was never a 13 pt game and manchester was never in the ballgame....hey but your still a D4 powerhouse

I wouldn't say typical Manchester fan. Anyway I figured they would come out playing much better than they did. I don't know what the issue was but i'm glad it happened early in the season. I think they'll be ready to play against Ripley and North Adams in the coming week.PHSfan14 wrote:Cry cry cry..typical manchester fan...excuses excuses.... Your right..my apologies....You cant blame the refs at all tonight...They just came out flat and couldnt make shots....they will get better and improve

Re: Manchester vs Peebles
Peebles was hot on their floor as expected, Manchester was getting shots they wanted but could not get them to go down in first half, then Daniels dominated down low and Manchester could not get him out of there, That was the biggest differences I seen, Neither guard played good enough to brag about, Trent Arey 10 pts, 1assists and 10 tos, Dylan Ricketts 10 pts, 4 assists 4 steals 5 tos. Manchester needs to play quicker pace ball, not a good half court team over all. They score there points off tos and a quick paced offense. Peebles is a very good and well coached half court team and hard to beat on their own floor. Be a fun game to watch if they get a chance to meet up at North Adams on a neutral floor. I am sure Manchester comes back better prepared. Good luck to the Manchester Greyhounds and Peebles Indians the rest of the season.

Re: Manchester vs Peebles
Refs called good game?no way...how many times did a peebles player grab a hold of a hounds players jersey and it not get called..hell peebles player started the big incident at the end of the game and refs stayed on manchester side and acted as if it was manchesters fault it started...happens at peebles all the time...I give daniels his props he dominated down low..peebles problem this year is when they face a team with same height as them they will get beat with out their inside game(and refs help) peebles is weak

I'm pretty confident that Manchester won't have the same performance against WU. It probably wont be a game at all.
Re: Manchester vs Peebles
streetballer, no referee can put a team down 24-8 at the half. EVERY TIME Manchester loses, you blame the refs. You embarrass yourself. Congrats Peebles on a good season opener. We're all looking forward to the (likely) rematch in the holiday tournament.

Trust me when I say this streethumper is the only "fan" that believes we lost because of the refs....what he DOESN'T understand is that most people on this site go and watch gms unbiased to either team....now I've never seen a gm where the refs were so bad that they only cost the team to have 8 pts at the half..... There would have to be 15-20 blatant non-calls and I truly believe IF that did happen a true peebles fan would own up to that, let alone an unbiased spectator.....I enjoy reading these threads , but streethacker you really ruin every thread you post on with your stupidity.....by all accounts Manchester should of won 30 straight by your logic...... The hounds will only go as far as combs will take them, they don't have a "legitimate" #2 scorer ....streetsurfer, when I say legitimate, I mean consistent ( incase you don't understand ) hopefully by tourney time ricketts or west can step into that role, but until then I see a .500 team
