Just got to work and i can not believe Waverly didnt go on a two hour delay- wow the roads are fine!!! I know some of the back roads may still be a little snow covered but a two hour delay would have worked.

There is no snow on u.s. 23 at all- does Waverly have a policy of no school no game or is it only up to the visiting school. I hope Waverly dont need a snow day in Feb. but dont have it because of today-

In today's lawsuit happy society you have to cancel school if it looks like it might snow. There have been many times in the past couple years where a 2 hour delay would have worked but they cancelled school instead.

I don't think they have a no school, no play policy but according to the forecast we could get some freezing rain later. With Oak Hill coming to town Friday the Tigers need to get this game in if at all possible

Portsmouth West did not have school today and I believe West will not be making the trip up US 23 tonight to play the Tigers.

West does not have a game friday. After their game vs. Valley this friday they are off until they go back to school after New Years.

The young kid shows alot of spirit. Nothing wrong with that. Everyone knows Oak Hill is loaded and could very well not lose a single game during the regular season. We will see what this young tiger team is made of come friday night.

I didn't realize that every student in Waverly lived along route 23.

Oh wait they don't. A bus isn't the easiest thing to navigate around a snowy back road. I would rather see them go all of June than risk getting a kid hurt.

Outsider 79 with a name like that you must be from West but you seem to know so much about Waverly. You stated that the Tigers will get drilled, we'll just see who knows local basketball. I'm assuming "drilled " means at least by 15 or 20 points.
