Prayers needed for former Waverly player

Will Barlow a former Waverly soccer player was injuried in a car accident Sunday January 11th. He is in critical condition with head injuries. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I was told Cabell Huntington.

He is not listed as a patient there. Have called several hospitals and is not listed in any of them.

The only update I have today is they put a feeding tube in, which is not unusual.

Things can change from day to day with head trauma. Please pray that God touches this young man with His healing hands.

It is our understanding that Wil's condition is improving.

I believe he is still in ICU but improving.

I was told that he had regained consciousness--at least for a little while--an recognized his father and answered some questions. They were hoping to have him stable enough to do surgery on the broken arm. But all of this is at least third hand.

I was told that the surgery was done on his arm. He has opened his eyes, but is not real responsive...Please continue to pray for him!

Wil has been moved to Adena in Greenfield for rehab...
He is not quite himself yet, but is expected to make a full recovery!
