Belpre trying to do it with a two man team tonight. Nestor and Ullman doing all the scoring. That won't cut against this Warriors team.

The Warriors came out hot again tonight and that was bad news for Belpre. They only shot 77% for the field in the 1st quater and raced out to a 20-9 lead. Good movement and team play was the reason Warren got out to this strong start. The Eagles made a little run and the 3s started falling on them by the Warriors. French then Hastie and good foul shooting by Knost and they pushed the lead back up. If Belpre could have made their foul shots they would have been in the game. I think at one time they were 4-14 in the 1st half. That will not get it against Warren. Score a the half 41 to 22 Warren.
The 2nd half was all Warren as the lead went to 27 at one point. Winland scored 6 points right off the bat to start the 3rd and it was game time. The bench as always came in and did a great job. Adam Lang I thought play hard and Danny Pannell did what he does best and hit 3 3s. Both gave a big Effort tonight.
A physical game, I think there were 60 some fouls shots shot tonight. Belpre could not stay with the Warriors and it showed in the 4th quarter. By the 4:00 min. mark left the Eagle were bet down.
Game stats for Warren
25 for 49 from the field 51%
22 for 31 from the line 71%
9 for 19 3s for 47%
14 turnovers
Final score 81 to 55 Warren
And thats all she wrote!!!
Good win Warriors!!!!!!!!!!

Warren looked very good last night. Jeremy Hastie was on fire and I don't think he missed a shot the whole game. Evan French is a good ball player and is only a sophomore. Warren went about 10 deep and that helped the Warriors a lot. Not all is lost for Belpre, though. I thought Belpre played extremely hard and much more disciplined than in recent years. Jake Ullman looked good and Dakota Hoffman played well also, but he has got to finish around the rim and make his free throws. Jace Knost uses his body well under the basket, which is why he gets every call, and can make his free throws. I thought Ryan Leasure got a few cheap fouls and he sat the whole third quarter with 4 fouls, that hurt Belpre a lot. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season.
