I have some pics of it somwhere and the storys about the first Rail Road and all there wrecks they had. Ill try to find them and post them for you.

I think it was the B,C, AND Z and had the nik name of bent crooked and zigzag because of all the curves and wrecks they had.

I may have been wrong this say the B&O was the first maybe they had the nik name Bent crooked and zig zag.

My brother was the engineer for The Powhatan Arrow of the N & W which ran through Portsmouth and on to Cincinnati. Here's some info:

I used to run a train down the old Pvine, its hilly and curvy down thru there, then you get just outside of cincy and they always hold you there for 5 or 6 hours I hated it. They dont run any trains that way anymore.

Very cool! My grandmother used to ride this train quite frequently as a youngster.

I'm a train fan. Need more stuff on this. I'd love to see someone document all the old abandoned spurs in SE Ohio. My old hometown of Shawnee hasnt seen a train since the late 70s. Loved the old B&O.
