West Union @ North Adams 12/19
West Union @ North Adams 12/19
always a rilvary, usually never know what is gonna happen.. Any thoughts?
Re: West Union @ North Adams 12/19
At first thought, I think anyone would be inclined to say North Adams and that will likely be how it will turn out. But...as we said in another post, anything can and usually does, happen in the SHL.

The is no way North Adams blows out West Union in this game....this game will be a ten pt. game either way
Re: West Union @ North Adams 12/19
Really could go either way. Couple years ago West Union blew out NA at the Mcdonalds tournament and NA returned the favor later in the season. This is usually an intense game. North Adams has had some rebounding issues which could hurt them this game given the size West Union has inside. On the other hand I don't think West Union has an answer for Kraig Unger and he can certainly be the difference in a game as he showed this past Saturday. Tyler Jimison is also playing very well this year for North Adams. I think North Adams wins and the margin will depend on how well the North Adams post players play.

Re: West Union @ North Adams 12/19
This game was worst than expected. In the majority of the first half WU stuck right with NA... But WU lack of rebounding and a couple of turnovers with 2-3 mins left in the first half gave NA a 13 pt. lead @ the half. In the second half WU came out and started the 3rd quarter like the game was already over and on top of that it appeared that NA was out rebounding WU 3-1, maybe even 4-1 towards the end of the game. I think that stat is really unacceptable with the height advantage that WU should have had over NA. If I were the WU coach rebounding would be the first thing we would be practicing, come our next practice. But you have to give NA some credit though because they hustled the ENTIRE game.
One thing I did have a problem with though was NA still had their starters in with 3 or 4 mins. to go in the 4th qrt. with NA already up by 40. (Someone might have possibly been trying to run the score up in a rivalry game... ...but I'm not for sure)

Height Advantage???! I agree W.U. has some height playing Young and Baer(however spelled) but N.A. starts 3 people that are 6'4 and 1 that is 6'6.....And for West Union, thats pretty much all the height they have....Idk how that would be be a big height advantage....Anyways, I was impressed with how N.A. played this game..I thought that they executed very well and at times, W.U. couldn't handle their pressure....Mostly in the second half....The game was close throughout the whole first half, until the last couple minutes where N.A. started to pull away....but all in all, i was impressed with N.A. and they're definitely the team to beat this year..
