They do not have jr high state championships in football, yet. But if they ever do I bet that still undefeated jr high team in Racine will have a run at it.

Little bit early, no?
Look out for any team coached by Mike DeVol, I know Caldwell lost a lot, but he is one heck of a coach. And I don't think he would have come out of retirement if there wasn't potential at Caldwell, and I mean potential in the long-term.

Look for Ursuline to continue its tear through D5. They are one sickening D5 team. Wow. They didnt playa d5 schooluntil the frickin playoffs!! i guarantee they wouldve given the d4 and d3 teams a run for their money. They had 90 kids on their team for cryin out loud. They still have a boatload of talent. The DE that verballed to OSU and both little speedy backs.
Steubenville willll be up there, as will Mooney in D4. Colerain or Elder in D1.
Anderson should be could again, as will deSales in D2.
Not sure about d6 or D3 as both finalists in D3 were not the typical teams you see. D6 will probably be the same 4-5 teams from the MAc and tha part of the state.

Don't forget there will be division realignments before next football season, some schools will move up and some will move down. From what I hear some of those teams being talked about has a good chance of changing Divisions.

If Coldwater drops to D-5 will anyone beside Youngstown Ursuline be able to play with them?

I don't know who they are, but I am willing to bet that 4 of the 6 championships will be won by....
private, parochial or selective enrollment schools.

I agree...and this is such a tough thing to contend with when you are a public school, going up against monsters like Youngstown Ursuline...who have a line the size of a college team and a bench that has 90 guys on it...and they are only a div 5 school. Something needs to be done...honestly they need to have maybe two private school divisions...and four public school divisions...it's not fair to have open enrollment to the whole area around Youngstown to pick from..and in a lot of cases...kids coming in from other states to play football...tough to beat that...Though...I think Ironton is going to have a fighting chance next season...if only they can somehow get a pass defense...they will be hard to beat.
