to make sure I was clear, it was during the game the ref walked over to over to the student section. The 2nd time was really strange-- it was during a timeout where no live play was going on.

Manitou Dan: One thing that is for sure: The refs are in control of the place once they walk onto the court. The principal or superintendent is only there in support of the referee. Therefore, right or wrong, what they say-----goes.
