Sounds like West Union gave lynchburg a pretty good game. I think WU is going to upset some teams in the second half of the season.
Was it a tight game all the way through?

Miami East just won a game on a buzzer beater which was released after the game had ended. Sounds familiar.

From what I have heard it was 88-80 in double overtime. Seip finished with nearly a triple double. 25 pts 17 reb 8 blks and Mitchell finished with 29, including 24 in the first half. I think the Taggert kid from Whiteoak had like 22 and Perkins from Ripley had 17. Very physical game, Whiteoak got to the line a lot. A lot of players fouled out, including seip in the first overtime and taggert in the second. Whiteoak got some nice minutes from players off the bench. Ripley led by about 14 at one point in the 3rd quarter and they really never slowed it down, and just kept firing it up. Congrats to Whiteoak on their biggest win on the season. Ripley will bounce back like always and still be in the tops of the league at the end of the year.

The Hounds record is 8-4 with their only losses coming from Ripley, Peebles twice, and Whiteoak. Wins being Western, West Union twice, Fayetville, Augusta, Fairfield, CNE, and North Adams.

Seip did have an impressive game. Thanks for the stats. Taggert also played well along with Doctor and the rest of the starters, but I think that it was the Whiteoak bench (after all the foul outs) that was able to win the game. Mitchell had a fantastic 1st half scoreing at will and I don't think he missed a shot. It was a good win for Whiteoak and a tuff loss for Ripley. I think that Ripley will easily bounce back from the loss. Just goes to show that the SHL is a great league and every game can be a great one. You never know who will be on top when the final buzzer sounds.
