I honestly don't think it's happening with the football team this year at Coal Grove. You've got the best 11 people playing on both sides of the ball - I honestly, 110% believe that. Well, heck, if it was happening, we wouldn't have the transfer from Spring Valley playing QB this year. . .

They have the jamboree against Ironton, but no one on here seems to know when. . .

Now does anyone want to talk about the OVC WITHOUT TRYING TO TAKE STABS AT THE COACHING STAFFS??????

Well Fuzz look for the peake to have a good stable of backs with a very smart QB and the line is going to be big and impressive, this could be a very good season if we don't have alot of injuries to key people. The schedule is tough also, so lets go peake.

The non-conference schedule is tough, but they've got a toss up against Oak Hill at home which could go either way. . . then they'll have the near-automatic annual win against Symmes Valley, then another toss-up on the road against Valley. . . if they could go 3-2 in the first 5, I'd be impressed.
They should do no worse than 3-2 in OVC play.
I'd say 5-5 or 6-4 for the peake this year.

fuzz is right, the level of play is pretty even though, peake could be a lil' better than we expected and go 8-2 easy with an avg team, or be a lil' weaker and go 2-8,
but its looking like peake should clear 5 wins

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Fairland will win at least 2 conference games this year. They lost a lot of talent, but they still have quite a bit. If they didn't have an overall winning record last year, I don't think they will this year. . . but they compete in the OVC for what it's worth. . .

Hey Fuzz, Any idea where the Ironton vs. Coal Grove jamboree might be played? I'm looking to go shoot this one.

Everything I've heard points to the "Pat". . . not 100% sure though.

Of course it's at the Pat, do you really think Ironton is going to let us on their "Holy Grail" at Tank.

Good point. What was I thinking. . . Reminds me of the place in Exodus where God told Moses from the burning bush to take off his shoes because he was standing on holy ground!

I heard he'd been granted special privileges from Pope Benedict to preside over Mass during football season. . .

Actually fuzz Pope Benedict was given permission from Lutz to preside of Mass during football season...... :122245

I hate having fun like this,,,,,,,,,wait,,,,,,,,,no I don't, it just kills me that the majority of the people in Ironton hold Lutz in higher regard than most if not all the teachers in Ironton.

What else does the City of Ironton have to hang it's hat on, having a bar somewhere within walking distance of every resident?
