Let's face it... The real reason Jon Hettinger would move to HHS to play ball is cause he couldnt play if his life depended on it...

Well Robby Evans won't have much of a role on the Piketon offense in the backfield (Tyler Tackett)

at the February school board meeting they approved Detillion to come back for another year at Unioto. what a pity, the kids out there deserve better than a pee wee coach at varsity.

What did you think was going to happen? The program has come such a long way in just two short seasons. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

what are they supposed to do, hire a new coach every year?
Face it the problem at Unioto is too much parental involvement and a bunch of kids that aren't willing to work and make sacrifices.

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Lester Doughty is the new trainer at unioto and is a great Lifting coach.I look for them to turn things around in the next couple of years. But everyone is talking about Piketon taking the league but your forgeting that Zane Trace and Paint Valley have a great team and will be in the hunt to take the SVC title this season. Zane Trace are returning Maxwell, Haynes,Echard,Flint,Shanton,Jones,Dodd,Cochenhours and some very talented juniors and sophmores coming up.

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Piketon Paintvalley and Zanetrace will all most likely have good teams this year they allways do but Westfall is still the better team till they lose an svc game.

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
At any rate, whoever said that Piketon is going to take the league is a fool. The season hasn't even started. Westfall is still undefeated for over 25 games in a row in the SVC. Zanetrace, and Paintvalley are always competitive too.
