Peebles

7th grade 14 - 1
8th grade 11 - 4

The 7th grade girls play at Whiteoak on Wednesday in the finals of the Southern Hills League Tournament against Fayetteville in round three this year. Both teams won by two points on the home team's court in their previous two games. Peebles beat North Adams on Saturday to advance to the championship game. Fayetteville has also only lost one game and that was to Peebles in the first game of the year.

Peebles 8th grade lost in the semi-finals of the SHL Tournament on Saturday to Eastern Brown to end their season.

Good seasons by both North Adams teams at the junior high level. The 7th grade team lost twice to Peebles and once to Fayetteville both of which only lost one time each and that was to each other.

Thanks bucknut.

Our girls improved with each game. Both teams had great seasons and I look forward to coaching these girls in the future.

While the last game was a struggle, the girls have nothing to hang their heads about. I'm proud of the effort and the success that we had this season.

The 7th Grade Final between Fayetteville and Peebles will be a classic, I'm sure!!! Good Luck to Coach Ward and Coach Brown and their girls.

Peebles 7th Grade Girls
Final Record 15~1
7th Grade league champs 7~0
7th Grade Tournament Champs

Congratulations to Fayetteville 7th grade girls who finished 2nd in the league and tournament.
All 3 games between these teams were close with Fayetteville winning the non-league game in January.

Fort Frye 7th and 8th grades both won the league title, Waterford also had both teams in final games. 7th grade won by 31pts and the 8th won by 10pts. It was great to see so much support for both schools last night.

Reedsville Eastern 7th grade girls finished the season 16-0. 14-0 in league play and 7th grade champs in tournament play. Their closest game was against Gallia, they won that one by 19. Way to go girls, keep up the good work.
