Re: Logan BB: 2008-2009 season
gotta say this was one the best first halves of bball that ive seen from logan this year. everything clicking. passing was crisp and being the aggressor.
after what the girls had to go through emotionally today, what a way to respond. kudos.

Nice win for the Lady Chiefs tonight over Marietta! The girls came focused and determined! 21-0 end of first quarter is just fantastic! Everyone played well! Nice to have Kati Hoffman on the bench with the team tonight! The score was 57-39 or close to it! I was a little pumped to remember.

Logan BB: JV and Varsity win tonight over Marietta. This win was for the four seniors that could not play tonight. Our thoughts are with Megan and Jenna and their quick recovery. That is life. This is just a game.
Re: Logan BB: 2008-2009 season
Logan BB: The JV and Varsity Girls travel to Gallipolis on Saturday. Three seniors will be out for this game. Both Megan Hoffman and Jenna Reynolds were released from the hospital yesterday. Katie Klinger is dealing with mono but it is hopeful that Katie Hoffman will be ready to suit up for this game. The girls played with an adrenaline high against Marietta. It is expected that there will be several more players up from the JV for this game. Of course the JV have a big game also against the Gallia JV who I think are 15-2 on the season. I don't know how that will play out.
Good luck Lady Chiefs.
Good luck Lady Chiefs.

Logan BB: JV and Varsity both win big at Gallia last night. Excellent game all around by all players. The girls have stepped up. Katie Klinger and Katie Hoffman both at the game supporting the teams. Great bunch of girls in this program. No rest for the girls as Zanesville comes to Jims jym on Monday. Just play the game. Go Chiefs.

Congrats to the Lady Chiefs and the fantastic games they have played this week. Lots of emotions riding throughout this past week. Goes to show you that when the heat is on, anyone at anytime can and will step up and be a huge part of the team effort. Way to play together ladies to get the job done. Good Luck tomorrow night against Zanesville. And a speedy recovery to the missing ladies in purple. Jenna Reynolds, Meghan Hoffman and Katie Hoffman and to Katie Klinger, hope you get your strength back soon.

Logan BB: Logan JV remain undefeated tonight vs Zanesville. Logan Varsity lose a close game 41 to 38. 11 for 20 at the charity stripe and a few to many missed bunnies. Athens comes to town Wednesday. Go Chiefs.

so much to be said after tonights game but hey, why change now?
third quarter killed us, but with some questionable personel moves, what can you expect.
lets beat athens!
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!
why didnt coach walsh call time out when topf made a hustle play in right in front of him, and then he left her out to dry by not calling a timeout. wow. then he yells at her right in front of the whole crowd that she did something wrong when everybody in the stands saw what happened and knows he screwed up.

Yep. By reading that last post, sure sounds like qualified101 is qualified to coach. All agree?

actually keyser im unqualified to coach(dont work in school system, time constraints, have a student in the program, etc.). its not my job to coach now is it?
oh yeah, i see where nobody disagreed.
and before anybody brings up the "you just want your kid to play card" thats not it at all. she shouldnt have been in either. if you go back to the last two or three games, there was a chemistry or cohesiveness(sp) that was very evident, which wasnt there last night even in the first half. heaven forbid we have an actual bball discussion on gameplans and stuff or what was right and what was wrong.

Re: Logan BB: 2008-2009 season
Q101, I must agree. The players that carried the team the last several games deferred to a different collection of players. Before they felt like they had to do it and now we are back to the same old concept. Played without the fluidity that was there before. Taking nothing away from the girls that did play but it just was not there.

Logan BB: 101 and hayseed, Count me in. The rabbit is back in the hat. Lets pick it up for the Athens game Wednesday at Jims jym.
