Wheelersburg @ Ironton 12/30

Post by ohbuckeye2 »

This will be a tripple header with the Freshmen starting at 5pm.

Should be another good challenge for the Tigers.

Will Lamb be back for this game???

GO TIGERS....

How does Ironton matchup with the Burg without Lamb?

Looks like Ironton will need to find a way to stop Stegman who had 26 against Portsmouth.

GO TIGERS...........

I have seen both teams play, and this will be a really good game. What effect having Lamb out of the lineup for Ironton remains to be seen, but Andy Stegman is tough to handle in the paint. Scored 26 vs. Portsmouth..........

Ironton is a deep team even without Lamb so I'm sure that Coach Lafon will play a lot of people, and Coach Barrick will probably play about 7-8 kids as well.

I wish I could see this one, but my Trojans are playing South Point...........

We will definately miss Mr.Lamb.But I really liked what I saw in those Tigers in the loss to Brookhaven.
Numerous boys stepped up to the challenge.
Its gonna be a good one at The Conley.

I agree, makes it nice having a deep bench. The bench is averaging 24 points a game so far this year. I hope Lamb has a quick recovery and can get back to playing soon.

People said the same thing about Portsmouth. Go ask them just how easy it was to beat the Pirates.

Barrick will have his team prepared and win or lose they will give 110% and leave it all on the floor. Remember, there isn't a senior on this team and one of the top players is sidelined with an injury, so if you are going to beat the Pirates you better do it this year because next year if 100% healthy they will be a handfull.

I guess we will both be missing a top player in this match up.

I think most Ironton fans know this will be a hard fought battle and not an easy win.

GO TIGERS...........

If so, I might bring Tobias, Jr. up to watch this game.

BTW, I received a new black sweater for Christmas.

Should I wear it and extend the curse for Ironton????

Wear the old one...the hubby was lucky the last time you wore that sweater in the Conley Center

Good luck to the Tigers...

... this one should be outstanding - Orange & Black vs Orange & Black ... the Black & Decker Special it will be ... I think I've talked myself into making the drive down Rt. 93 tomorrow to see this one in person ... usually I don't get to see Wheelersburg until Convo Time ... want to see how the Tigers compensate for life without Michael Lamb ... should be great to watch from the Cheap Seats ...

Pirates are the better "Team." They will come out on top.

The pirates would not beat Chilly or hang w/ Brookhaven. I think the the Burg will find out how young they are tonight. Tigers are scary good this year even w/out Lamb. Should be a good game to watch from the home side. Go Tigers!

Whenever or whatever sport, Ironton vs Wheelersburg will never be "easy" for either team! And woe to the team that thinks it will be! That's the "curse"!
I plan on being here and awake to do updates tonight. GO FIGHTING TIGERS
