I honestly believe that John is a very good player. Ive heard people say bad things but it seems to me that his presence in the paint gives teams problems

John is a very fundamental player, he might not be the most athletic center but he gets it done down there

i think meigs problem is that they are not playing as a team. to many I players. come on boy's start being a team and you will be winners. i will promise you that, and as far as will, if he was that good than why did he quit the team.

I like to scan the huddle and I am always intrigued by a Meigs post. It seems everytime I get on a Meigs post someone is A. Bashing the coach B. Bashing the players or C. Quitting the team. I understand the first two cannot be stopped, however, why are kids always quitting the team? Where are the parents? What ever happened to the philosophy of "you never quit what you start?" Come on Meigs parents, get with it and control the situation. Yes, the coach may be too hard or not hard enough but come on!!!

Coppic played well I agree, probably one of the most improved or at least underappreciated on the team. Also Bradley Brown had a tremendous game. Overall, SHS played a good team ball.

The Bolin kid is good, as is Hill also.

That was the best game I have seen Brown play, and Coppick has improved 100 %..Harris was off a little bit but Southern still kicked Meigs butt

Why is it that there is always that few that gets on here and ruins it for everybody? Please remember these are boys playing there hearts out and as for the coachs they are doing what they think is best. It takes a special kind of person be it from Southern . Meigs, NY or trimble to take on the job that they have taken on. So stop and think about it before you go bashing coachs or the kids.

Let Timble talk. They are going to go undefeated. All that's right they have lost 4 games since then. But I read it was their coachs fault. No I read they did not get the ball inside. No I read the guards did not get enough shots. No it was the refs fault. Let them post. That gives the kids a reason to come to school.And to the Meigs fan bad mouthing John, his team just beat you by 20pts. John has had some key games to help get us where were at. Every player on the Tornadoes are key to are winning. Thats what it means to be on a team.

I know Scott Kennedy and i have trouble believeing that he would be the center of this "no skill" talk...if my sources are correct he started, played, and was effective in every JV game last year, and if im not mistaken a, a decent golfer and placed a few times, not to mention he is a given to be top 10 in his class.

But i dont know him that well...just what ive read in the paper.

And im pretty sure (considering that i was near the bench) he wasnt sittin anywhere near the bench at this game however supported Meigs and cheered.

Dont know this Barcus kid but do you have better "skills" or knowledge about him for this calling out and persecution to happen???
