Eastern vs. Western Consolation Game

What does everyone think about this game? If the eagles can pressure the Indians and play as hard as they did against waverly they should pull this one out. They need to pressure the gaurds of the Indians though, and not commit so many fouls against Western. Waverly made more free throws than Eastern attempted in the last game, which should never happen. Western's advantage would be taking it inside as Shanks is the biggest most athletic player on the floor. Should be a great game between two evenly matched teams. I'll say Eastern pulls it out by 9.

If you would have ask this a couple weeks ago,I would have said Western by 15 but they need to get it together,If Eastern plays as hard as they did Saturday I say they win by 6.My guess is

Eagles are playing with alot of heart this year with alot to prove--I predict they win tomorrow as long as they play smart---it seems like every time we got a momemtum going against Waverly last Sat someone would throw up some crazy shot or something and turn the ball over---lets concentrate on team efforts et leave the crazy backwards-over-the-shoulder kinda shots on the outside courts where they belong. You'll only get lucky one in every 1000 times of making that shot (like Sat)

wheres all the western fans?? am i the only one left? i think it will definitely be a close one. always is between these 2 teams. i wouldnt count out the tribe just yet. it might just be closer than all you eagle fans think. whats the word? kill the bird!

Western won....It was a good game but Eastern didnt have the same kind of game they had against Waverly....But I dont think Western has played their best yet....Either way the Indains won.....

Finally got to see the Eagles play for the first time tonight. I talked to some Waverly folks that thought we would beat Western, but said the Eagles did not have the same fire tonight?? against WESTERN? WHY NOT?

Anyhow, they looked good in spots..played hard in spots...but inconsistant. Very ill advised 3's at times? Hope Fitch "tighten's" the trigger finger on a few....

Osborne played Shanks well, but fouling out really hurt the Eagles the last few minutes. Keep your head up Eagles...you still get to play them 2 more times. JUST BRING THE EFFORT !

I don't want to be a burden...but I thought I saw a foul on base line in the closing seconds of that game on shanks ido believe....that really could have made a difference...but..you'll have that ha...get em next time Eagles!!!...

Yes everyone seen the foul,and how about the charge on the previous possesion before Western scored....I'm not one to usally complain about officiating but that was flat out terrible!!!Anyway Eastern should have never put themselves in that situation to begin with so I definitely dont blame the no calls for the loss,it was Eastern's poor decisions and lack of execution.I give Western all the credit for being able to pull this one out,it was a hard fought game and the Indians wanted it more a the end.It was a killer when Osborne fouled out for the Eagles.Congrats to Western.....We will see ya in about a week and half I believe....I'm sure the Eagles will be chomping at the bit for that one(atleast they should be).Hope we can get back on track against Minford Saturday,another tough task, but atleast it's at home.Go Eagles!!!

i think shanks had his worst game of the year. but western won on talent not coaching. Eastern coach has done a good job with what talent he has, they play hard

Eastern's coach did a great job keeping his ball team in the game. Western will have to play better to beat Eastern on the 13th. Western needs to become more consistent. Go Indians!!!!
