If gallia kicks 5 I'd put money on it that Austin Osborne gets a piece of one and it don't go it

He may kick 5 FG's but Luke will kick 7 extra points! :122246

Mighty devil they did not shake hands last year they walked to the endzone instead of lining up to shake hands , sorry about your son getting a cheap shot as I am sure that happened . There are bad eggs on every team who will take cheap shots at opposing players Goodluck to the blue as they roll into Alumni stadium, but it will be a long ride home after the loss . Ironman 35-10

Hey, Ironmannut07, does this qualify as "legitimate hate" or just "hate light"? :1222496STROKER wrote:Mighty devil they did not shake hands last year they walked to the endzone instead of lining up to shake hands , sorry about your son getting a cheap shot as I am sure that happened . I would have to say that that qualifies under legitimate hate!!WitnessProtection wrote:Hey, Ironmannut07, does this qualify as "legitimate hate" or just "hate light"? :1222496STROKER wrote:Mighty devil they did not shake hands last year they walked to the endzone instead of lining up to shake hands , sorry about your son getting a cheap shot as I am sure that happened . Sometimes the truth hurts! But HATE that's an awfully strong word. Maybe dislike!

Im sure this is going to be a hard hitting intense game. Gallia has heard about and seen Jacksons explosive offense but I don't think that's what they need to worry about. They might want to worry about the Ironmen defense. They fly around, hit hard and force turnovers with eleven guys on the ball every play. This team will be motivated for a 10-0 season plus it's our biggest rival. Expect a few Blue Devils not wanting to carry the ball multiple times and a young Qb looking at a sea of red everywhere he looks.
People may like to act like this isn't a hate game but it is. I hate the Blue Devils and I have friends from their that hate the Ironmen. This game is always a good game no matter who has the better team.
As far as cheap shots or this team does this or that both schools are guilty of doing things a little dirty. When we go down to gallia they cuss our players flip them off and even throw things sometimes. Yes Jackson plays intense and talks trash sometimes to Gallia but it goes both ways...it's a big rivalry game and it is always going to be that way. Do you think the Buckeye fans welcome Michigan into their stadium with respect? No way.
Good luck to te Ironmen and I hope that no one gets hurt on either team. I predict an even bigger win than it was last year.

Just talked with Mayor Heath. The 25-game winning streak is officially correct.Ironman92 wrote:Regular season they could have. 1954 10-0 and it looks like they could've won up to 8 in a row to finish 1953 and up to 9 in a row to start 1955....could've won up to 27 in a row, but quite sure they won 25 in a row. So Randy is not wrong but the little mention in the paper is. Not a big deal either way. If I'm wrong, oh well....been wrong before.
Started against Oak Hill on Oct. 2, 1953 and ended with a 28-6 loss to Nelsonville-York on Nov. 4, 1955.
He said he gave Keyser the wrong info at the start of the year on this subject.
So 92, apparently Randy was wrong and Paul did his job properly. He was just given bad information.
I'll see you all Friday up on the hill. Doing my third straight Jackson-GA game for both papers. Third time will be the charm for someone.
Re: Week 10: Jackson (9-0) vs. Gallia Academy (6-3)
Though he was wrong after giving those 3 records and saying it couldn't have been 25.

gallia will have no answer for jackson's offense,to many weapons, jackson 48 gallia 10.
Re: Week 10: Jackson (9-0) vs. Gallia Academy (6-3)
If I were the coach responsible for an offensive game plan against GAHS I would do the following:
Early in the game see how they defend wide line splits.
If they neutralize the wide splits, run between the tackles only enough to keep them honest.
If they don't handle the wide splits run the QB sneak until they do something to stop it.
Run the option.
Throw away from #9.

Jackson Freshmen defeated GAHS, 28-16, tonight at Alumni Stadium. The Ironmen led 22-0 at the half before GAHS cut the lead to 22-16. Jackson scored a late TD to seal the deal.
Perfect week against Gallia Academy so far. Let's keep it that way on Friday night.
