The boys game ought to be quite an interesting game, to say the least, Steve Miller. Now, I find your location interesting, in contrast to your moniker here.
You had so many choices, other than something totally unrelated with the "Space Cowboy" moniker, based on your location.
Nonetheless, I like the twist, and confusion. "No Quarter" is a great location, and I'm not sure many would get it..........LOL! Good stuff!!!!
I like the Lancer Men in this one, based on their tough match-ups so far. I'll take the Lancers at home, by 2, in OT!

Steely Dan, Hahaha... The space cowboy thing has to do w/ the song; The Joker. You figured out the " winds of thor" thing. I did post on another thread where I live, but few would have caught it concerning it was about another schools coach problem, via the schools holiday games. The Joker / Space Cowboy thing has to do with my teen years ( 75-78) growing up, south of Dayton. Have enjoyed many of your posts, hope we get to meet one nite at a ballgame. BTW, since youve figured out my location, my wifes nephew was one of their guards last year : #10.
Re: Alexander @ Federal Hocking 1/10
No offense to Federal Hocking...very scrappy team...I wish them luck.....Alex is very deep and disciplined...I will take Alex by 20.
Re: Alexander @ Federal Hocking 1/10
I hate to say it, but this is really Alexander's game to win or lose. If they play poorly then FH has a chance. But if they are on, the lancers will not have the power to answer back 4 full quarters.

Your post is an idiot.
My post is an idiot?
Why must you call my post names?
I think you proved you are a bigger idiot than my post.
Spartans big!

Spartan...........yes, now I remember that tough Waverly team that Alex beat. Did Alex play up in a higher division for a few years around that time? Wasn't that the days of A, AA, AAA classification? Normally Alex wouldn't play with Gallipolis or Waverly except that year or two correct? If that's the deal too bad because they could have gone a longer way in the smaller school division.
Now that you mention the names from Waverly I seem to remember lots of jokes about Coach Hawhee or whatever the correct name was, back in the glory days of the TV show HEEHAW!! Waverly was the team to beat in Southern Ohio.
I look for this game on Saturday to be hard fought. Lancer boys are really scrappy and the coaches seem to be doing a good job getting them ready for opponents as of late. DeWayne Clark has the quickest hands in the east!!! Alex is playing well this year being Sr. laden and they are deep off the bench. Nobody wants to miss this in DC McInturf Saturday night!! Then we get to replay it in the Ally in Feb.
GO LANCERS!!!!!

As a Fed Hock fan (with family ties to this years Alexander squad) I don't see it being close. The starting 5 is about as solid of a group as you can get. I understand the rivalry factor but Alexander is better at every aspect of the game this year. I've seen both teams 3 times........The Lancers will struggle to keep it within 20.
Re: Alexander @ Federal Hocking 1/10
If I'm a Fed Hock Player Gloaming you're really getting me pumped up. Every game is different and every team matches up in a different way. With that said, Alex is playing really well this year and Fed knows they will come to compete.
Go Lancers!!

Maybe those are my intentions:)....but probably not. Alexander is the Cream of the Crop in the TVC....gonna be a tough one for the Lancers to win.

The winner may not be the best team in the league but this rivalry has been going on since Alex came into the conference. Throwout everything you are thinking about who should win and why. They will both fight to the finish to git r done!!

Re: Alexander @ Federal Hocking 1/10
Congrats to the Spartans on the win. Gloaming is right, you are legit. Coach Gabriel has a solid and well coached team.
As for the Lancers and Coach E, forget this one and get ready for the next one. Lancers played hard but tonight Alex was the better team. The better team does not always win but tonight they did...
As for the JV game- Coach Bolin does a great job and the Alex JV's are very solid. Dirk Malone from Alex really lit it up.
