I must apologize to all the notre dame fans...They really impressed me alot. They were strong on the boards all night.Though the officials were one-sided, Notre Dame was the better team tonight.

Re: CLAY @ ND
Notre Dame was well prepared, I think there was a couple of players on clay that was more interested in running their mouth, than actually playing.
Re: CLAY @ ND
Congrats to Notre Dame on your victory over Clay. I have to agree with the comment about Clay's big men not getting very many touches during the ballgame and this could have been a factor in the game because Clay could have possibly gotten ND low post players in foul trouble and made ND go to a thin bench. Notre Dame played a good game and did not seem to get flustered when they were down and Clay was hitting some three's and driving to the basket, ND came out in the second half and stayed within their game plan. It looked like Kammler and Glockner came ready to play in this game for ND, while Delabar kept them in the game in the first half with 3's and A. Noel making some contributions in scoring but more importantly getting ND into their offensive sets, Hannah applying some defensive pressure and aggressiveness when he was in the ballgame, and T. Noel helping on the offensive/defensive boards, coming up with some steals, and blocked shots. Best of luck to Notre Dame and Clay on the rest of your games and the next game should be another good game.

Re: CLAY @ ND
Good win for ND , good sign when you play below par and still get a W. ND got nearly zero offense out of the guards in the 1st half (due to good D from clay) and were downright terrible from the line but still got a W. Game was called decently , about what you would expect with (unfortunately) MAYBE the home team getting a call they won't get on the road. Clay just did'nt shot well , had a few shots rattle out that might go in on a diff' day. But ND has played much better also. should make for a good rematch down the road.
Lastly I will add that one of my fav personal sayings about any team sport is that "the team is a reflection of the head coach" . Clay's team fits that saying well, it's helter skelter from start to finish. MD

Re: CLAY @ ND
I think that clay played alright. They just need to have a better shot selection when there up ahead at half time. They just come out and jack 3's when there up ahead. Clay couldnt get a decent call from the refs. They ended up havin 3 ppl foul out, Burchett, Mershon, and Valentine. Clay just got in foul trouble early in the game and that will cost them in the long run. But clay is headed out to manchestar tonight so hopefully they can pull out a win there.

Re: CLAY @ ND
Clay has some quick and good guards. They need a little help down low.
Notre Dame played a very good second half. I am glad to see some balance in the scoring.
I am glad to see #12 taking some shots --- he needs to take more in order to balance out the guard play.
This ND team is one of our better teams I have seen in quite some time. ND basketball has struggled for a number of years. These boys can play well and I believe will be the beginning of quite a few years of some good ND basketball.
Clay keep your head up. Play hard and disciplined. Don't buy in to someone telling you your coach is your problem or the refs did not give you any calls. If you believe that you will start blaming them for your tough games and not take responsibility and ownership yourselves. I personally like your coaches enthusiasm. He may go a little over the top sometimes but I can see h genuinely cares about the program.
I am most sure we will need to be ready to play when we head to Rosemount. It will be a very tough game.
Until then goodluck tonight against Manchester. I am rooting for you to win.
To Notre Dame -- good luck Tuesday at Symmes. You had better be ready at the start --- SV just lost o Western by 8 last night.

Well manitoudan, you are right about coach Trainer being high spirited. High energy is a nearly lost commodity with today's youth though. With all the technology allowing them to sit on the couch and twiddle their thumbs to play a game it is kinda nice to see the passion the man feels, and demands from his team.

Re: CLAY @ ND
Tonight I went to BW's and saw the Manchester coach with the Ref's from the game. I cannot believe they all travelled back to go to BW's. I saw them laughing and the ref's were gesturing the the T sign.
That is so ridiculous!
