That is complete garbage. Jackson actually voted no because they had the same concerns as Athens. All that was needed to end the whole thing was for one more school to vote no, but no one else stepped up to the plate. Jackson then accepted the decision of the other schools and stayed in the league. Athens, on the other hand, voted to leave the league before the expansion officially happened, despite the fact that they voted FOR expansion.Raider6309 wrote:

There are a lot of reasons that the SEOAL ended, but I'm so sick of Athens people saying stuff like this. Athens wanted out and what happened was their under-handed way of getting what they wanted. Now they get to dominate the TVC, and that's fine with me, but all this joy from you guys about the end of the SEOAL is sickening, mostly because you had the power to stop it.
