yea, he might be one of the worst players I have seen. The only reason he scored is because he is tall, he has no skill, muscle, and he isnt very smart.

I gonna go out on a limb and say that not too many Hocking POY's have gone on to play major DI basketball, so lets focus on the topic here, Cunningham still has been the most dominate player in the league and Waterford still only has one league loss so....

I can't think of any players in the TVC going on to play D1 basketball. IMO Cozart & Garrett were both better players then anyone in the TVC this year. So if you want to go to a D1 school you should hit the books hard. I think Harris & Cunningham can both play at a smaller school at the next level. Which if you can get a free education that is great.

I don't see how you could be the best player in the league if you may not even be the best player on your own team. I must be missing something.

Maybe we should change it from POY to MTP for "Most Tall Player"... ;-)

Getting back on track..Harris can take control of a game and does not get uptight and is definately not Hot headed. He is a clutch player and plays pretty good Defense too. I believe with some work he could play at the next level at a small school. But, the question is will he go to play basketball , or play golf at possibly a larger school?

Regardless of personal opinions about Cunningham, I think folks here need to remember that he is a high school senior. That makes him a teenager, not an adult. Some of these posts are personal and mean. Now you can say he's brought it on himself. But youth has made all of us do things at one point or another we're not proud of.

Whether you love him or hate him, he doesn't deserve to be trashed by a bunch of adults. I think it's fine if someone says they saw him have a problem on the floor with impulse control (i.e. hot head). Comment on his game all you want. And honestly, think of the scrutiny this young man has been under since entering high school. He definitely has the height to get some looks. What comes from that is unknown at this point. If I didn't know better, I'd think there were a lot of jealous short people posting here.

Dunks??? He can dunk a ball, but who couldnt at that height??? I saw him dunk at Eastern last year... and he barely broke the rim down. I'm not taking anything away from him but he isnt some awesome dunker....... and I also saw him at Rio's dunk contest.. anyone remember that??

Here is a game that he dunked three in and gets at least one dunk a game but not every game! http://www.wtap.com/sports

Just scroll through the bottom with the videos and look for waterford vs. eastern brown

I believe a dunk is a great way to get a teams energy going but I look at the small things. DJ can dunk..... but colleges want more than a dunker. In our area, not many kids can throw one down and when someone can it gets talked about. I want to see more. I want to see a dominant 6' 10'' guy if hes playing with 5'11'' - 6'2'' Centers. If you go to the link on WTAP you will see what I mean. He hasnt showed me that he is college material. You guys at Waterford need to talk him up more before I buy it. Dunking doesnt make you D1 prospect. I may be wrong and thats up to DJ to prove me wrong.
